Why do you want a wedding film?

We want to capture the best moments in our life and share it with the world. We want to announce our love to the world

Why did you choose Happy Flashbacks?

We liked some of your wedding films and got along seemingly well with Noopur and Anish

You guys... What do you do for a living? How do spend your days when you're not at work? What's important in life?

Varun is a Sales Director for a software company called Bamboo Rose. Harmit is a Marketing Manager for a mobile gaming company called Playtika.
We love to stay fit and healthy. Explore new cities. Spend time with friends. We love to cook and try out new restaurants. For us the most important thing is love and travel. We work really hard during the week and like to play hard during the weekends. Varun is very into fashion. Harmit loves food, family and varun ;)

How did you both meet? What's your story?

Harmit and Varun met in Goa, India at their best friends wedding. Harmit was the maid of honour and Varun was the best man. Their first encounter was at the sangeet night when there
were about 30 or so people crammed into varun's hotel room... the after party. Completely taken since the first time he laid his eyes on her, Varun decided to modestly, stand
up on the table and announce to the whole room that one day...one day he would marry this girl...finger aimed at harmit...she looked up from her phone with a combination of disgust and
bewilderment and said..."who is this guy?"
After the shaadi, Varun went back to Sydney and Harmit flew back to San Francisco. For 9 Months they did long distance.
Varun took a transfer of offices at his company. Moved to SF in Dec 2017. Like most worthy love stories..theirs began with brazen foolishness.

Was there a proposal? Tell us all the details.

The proposal happened in Feb 2018 in LA. Varun had organized a French Beneteau sailing yacht in the Marina del rey harbour with hidden photographers, 100s of balloons and champagne. Harmit was having lunch with a friend at the Ritz nearby. As she left the property Varun was standing there in his tux. He took her on the yacht and bent the knee. She cried. He cried. No. She cried. He laughed and obviously she said yes!

What's the most beautiful thing about your partner? Something that made you decide 'forever'.

Harmit - "Varun sweeps my feet off the ground and throws me on cloud 9 in a matter of seconds. One moment I’m getting ready to go out for a simple birthday dinner and the next moment it turns into a treasure hunt where I’m finding presents around the city. There are no two ways about his love. When he’s in it he’s in it 500%."
Varun - "To me Harmit is home. She’s been the one I wanted since the moment I laid eyes on her and I’ve never loved anyone or anything more. She sets me straight when I’m acting like a child, she brings up my spirits when I’m depressed and she’s always there for me, standing beside me urging me to go for it. She's a kind and compassionate person and she makes me a better human when I'm with her"

The venue. Why did you choose this place above anywhere else?

We saw many hotels before finalizing Samode Palace. We love that it’s surrounded by the Aravalis - secluded from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. It’s the perfect venue for an intimate and classy wedding. It has the 450yr heritage combined with the modern luxuries and amazing service. We really connected with this place.

What experience do you want to give your guests?

We are only welcoming about a hundred people in our wedding. We want it to be a very personalized experience from the moment they check in. We want to give them the WOW factor!
